Usually held the fourth weekend in August,
this annual 2 day event, attracts people from North Dakota, Minnesota,
South Dakota, and Canada. The agenda includes guest speakers, actual trap
setting demonstrations, trap setting contests and fur handling demonstrations.
Those attending share in a meal Saturday evening and just good camaraderie
prevails.
Trapping supply dealers are on hand to provide the equipment needed
for trapping and snaring.
The annual business meeting is held on Saturday, along with a benefit
auction and white elephant sale.
These are always a good place to pick up some interesting items.
A spring meeting is held each year at a date determined at the fall
rendezvous.
